About the topic: In 2020 the climate transition required by the Paris Agreement collided with the COVID-19 pandemic. The impacts of this collision continue to unfold, with major consequences for the achievement of a just and clean energy transition. This presentation will examine developments in sustainable finance in the EU, other key jurisdictions and internationally in the period of pandemic ‘stimulus’ measures, from the perspective of implications for Energy Community Contracting Parties.
