The fourth edition of Energy Community Summer School brought together 41 participants from 28 countries as well as many experts from the Energy Community Secretariat and guest speakers, all of them experts and practitioners in the energy field. The Summer School program consisted of 32 expert lectures, 5 mentors for the each of the days of the program.
The final 41 participants were selected out of a pool of 190 online applications, all submitted to the Energy Community Secretariat by 31 March 2019. From the total of 190 applicants only 167 applicants from 38 different nationalities were classified as eligible for the program. As of May 2019, the Energy Community Summer School started sending out invitations to all selected applicants, offering them a possibility to participate in the 2019 Energy Community Summer School.
As regards demographics, the 2019 Energy Community Summer School brought together 24 female and 17 male participants with an average age of 29 years. Having an academic degree was a precondition for a successful applicant; 33 participants had a Masters’ degree, whilst 8 participants were in possession of a PhD diploma.

The project was organized by the Energy Community Secretariat in cooperation with the Visegrad Fund, Jagiellonian Univesity and AGH University of Science and Technology from Kraków, Poland.
