On 3–4 June, the second annual Energy Community Climate and Energy Reporting under the Adapted Governance Regulation meeting took place in Warsaw. The event was jointly organised by the Energy Community Secretariat and the European Environment Agency (EEA), with KOBiZE IOŚ-PIB acting as host.
The meeting gathered heads of climate change and energy units from all Energy Community Contracting Parties, along with representatives from the European Commission (DG ENER, DG CLIMA, DG NEAR), the EEA, and the Secretariat. Participants shared experiences on the implementation of climate and energy reporting obligations and exchanged views on challenges faced and progress achieved so far.
Key sessions focused on how climate and energy data is used in national decision-making processes, ways to streamline and simplify reporting procedures, and how to strengthen institutional capacities. The event also served as a platform to explore further technical cooperation and alignment with EU standards under the adapted Governance Regulation.
